Joint Seal (Pty) Ltd is a gasket manufacturing business which has diversified over the past 47 years. The company proudly participates in the growth of local businesses and upholds the “Proudly South African” attitude and support.
Joint Seal is a small, efficiently run business with one director/owner. We have a staff complement of eleven and, in true democratic style, employ 7 black females, 2 white females, and 1 white male.
We manufacture in excess of 500,000 gaskets per month from a variety of materials in accordance with client demand.
The materials include mild steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, all non-asbestos materials (as per government requirements), a full range of rubber materials, PVC, plastic, PTFE, paper, cork, and other materials within our range to satisfy our clients.
We have both modern and older equipment which we use in the production of gaskets. This includes our own Die and Tool Shop where we manufacture woodback dies and press tools.
We are equipped with a non-metallic 400-watt Laser and a CNC machine for the manufacture of complex gaskets and small production runs.
Having been uniquely CAA Approved in the past, our operations included in-house auditors who controlled the approved manuals as well as bi-annual internal audits by the relevant industry authorities. Unfortunately, the drop in demand forced us to close that operation.

Mercedes Trucks, Scania, Tata, Komatsu, Land Rover, Various Truck Gearbox Sets, Pumps, Cylinder Head Gaskets
